The service is designed for customers who shop often on Boxed and were looking for a little something extra. "Boxed Up is the premium offering customers have been asking for," Prashar said. "They were looking for deeper discounts and unique offerings and were willing pay a little to get those." Boxed Up is, however, significantly cheaper, at $49 a year to Prime's $99 (or $13 a month). Slicing Subscription Costs - Trims’ subscription-canceling service is free — and saves quite a bit of time versus having to do it all myself — not to mention that it only took a few seconds to root out subscriptions I didn’t even realize I had (when did I sign up for an eFax service?!). When I head back to the dashboard, Trim also notifies me that it can save $50 on my monthly Comcast bill — which would be great since we just switched to Comcast last month and thought we had a great deal. I gave Trim my Comcast information and received an email a few days later that it was not able to find a lower price. Trims’ Co-Founder and CEO Thomas Smyth told me that the company uses a combination of bots and people to snag a better price on common household services and that they take 25% of the annualized savings. Find ways to save with Trim

Drone Industry Leaders: AirMap’s New CEO is an Optimist - AirMap‘s new CEO, David Hose, is an optimist when it comes to the drone industry.  The recently named head of one of the world’s leading drone operations platforms has a lot to be hopeful about: the company estimates that over 85% of the drone economy is currently connected to their platform.  With drone forecasts growing every day and new projects across the globe, AirMap is poised to expand all over the world – and David Hose is in a great position to lead them forward. “Global is definitely the headline – we will make a shift from product development to getting the product into the market,” he says, commenting that the company is already involved in major projects internationally, like the recently announced European UTM project.  “As LAANC is a game-changer in the U.S., there are similar developments around the world.  AirMap’s experience is perfect for that.” While the company is focused on market growth, they’re still continually adding new functionality to provide clarity for operators everywhere.  The core purpose of the map, he says, is to educate people about where they can and cannot fly – good for both operators and regulators.  They’ll keep developing their product towards that goal. “We want to make our application the safest in the world,” says Hose. Get started with Automated Airspace Authorization for Developers

Factual Case Study: Toys ‘R’ Us Foot Traffic Analysis Reveals Challenges in Smaller Markets - The results of a new foot traffic analysis conducted by the location data firm Factual reveal that Toys “R” Us’ demise could just as easily be blamed on stiff competition from within the brick-and-mortar retail market. In a foot traffic analysis conducted between November 2017 and January 2018, Factual’s data science team found that Toys “R” Us struggled most in smaller markets. On average, competitors like Walmart and Target saw 20x more foot traffic than Toys R Us in small markets, which included Biloxi, Mississippi, Tucson, Arizona, and Dayton, Ohio. The data suggest that shoppers in these smaller markets preferred “one-stop-shops” over specialized stores. Contact the Factual sales team to learn more
