Idaho Goes Live with OpenGov Transparency Portal - State Controller Brandon Woolf said Idaho residents deserve a user-friendly, searchable expenditure database to hold agencies accountable and to build trust. The portal adds a layer of detail not possible in previous efforts. Nine months ago, Idaho embarked on a mission to create a user-friendly, searchable government expenditure database for residents. Transparent Idaho, designed by OpenGov, launched last week and features visual representations of agency spending, the ability to share findings on social media, a new desktop and mobile interface, and data that is updated nightly. Atos and Virtru Announce Partnership to Offer Data Security Solution for Digital Workplace - Atos has announced a strategic partnership with Virtru, which will provide global organisations with a joint encryption solution for digital workplace, protecting customer data across cloud-based platforms. This solution combines Atos hardware encryption with Virtru’s encryption software and is aimed at organisations which are looking for easy-to-use data encryption solutions to protect data in both cloud and hybrid environments. Leveraging its integration capabilities, Atos has created a unique offering to address the high-level security required for the digital workplace, based on both Atos and Virtru products. This offering can be provided on-premise or as-a-service, depending on customer requirements and constraints. Bertucci's, Buca di Beppo partner with Slice app - Pizza-ordering app, Slice, has partnered with pizzeria chain's, Bertucci's Brick Oven Pizza & Pasta and Buca di Beppo, to make ordering items from those brands for pickup or catering delivery easier. The companies are kicking off the launch of the partnership by giving customers 10% off their first orders from Bertucci's or Buca di Beppo, as long as they're placed on the Slice app with code BERTBUCA by July 15, a news release said. There are no minimum orders or fees to use the app to order from the two brands, which includes Bertucci's 58 locations and Buca di Beppo's 75 stores. Slice now has more than 11,000 pizzerias nationwide under its platform. Join the Slice team

Raytheon, AirMap team for UAS in the national airspace - Raytheon signed an agreement with AirMap on 19 June to collaborate on future projects regarding UAS being integrated into the national airspace system. The companies hope that the agreement will demonstrate the positive economic and social benefits of commercial drone operations on a greater scale. ‘AirMap is ushering in a new era in drone aviation,’ said Matt Gilligan, vice president of Raytheon's Intelligence, Information and Services business. ‘Drones must safely operate in an already complex ecosystem, which is where our experience matters.’ The agreement will bring together the expertise of both companies. Raytheon will provide its Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS), which is used by air traffic controllers throughout the US to provide aircraft spacing and sequencing guidance for civilian and military airports.
